4-Place (2nd Generation) Pulse Demand ™ built-in system, experimental only.
The ip stands for intelligent peripheral, meaning each oxygen outlet station has a microcomputer that constantly monitors respiratory aspects of each person. Through the cannula or face mask, the ip system characterizes the physiological respiratory profile to adapt to individual needs and situational awareness. In addition, the ip system gleans a good approximation of a person’s PaO2 saturation (amount of O2-carrying blood cells that are able to carry O2 to the body) ensuring that the proper amount of oxygen is delivered at various altitudes. The ip system is a completely integrated, adaptive, intelligent aviation oxygen system. No other aviation oxygen system can provide such conservation of your oxygen with unmatched safety and comfort.
FAA-CAMI tested: EDS-4ip (intelligent peripheral)
Built-in Pulse Demand™ oxygen management systems are complete kits that include all you need to do high-flight-level cross-country flying with ultimate physiological safety.
Kit includes the low-profile instrument panel or overhead-mountable EDS 4ip control head unit with a 2.25″ X 3.125″ vertical form factor, four (4) remote-mountable oxygen outlet distributor units, the new IPR-2DL (2-stage Intelligent Peripheral Regulator) with our lightweight CFFC-048 carbon-fiber-wrapped cylinder, 48-cu.-ft. capacity allowing many round-trips without oxygen refills.
In addition, masks, cannulas, as well as necessary hardware and tubing are included along with the builders manual with schematics and templates.
NOTE: The EDS ip systems automatically operate from a 12- or 24-volt system at a mere 250 ma. of current.
Upon request, system can be fitted with any cylinder we offer. Price is adjusted accordingly.
For the builder we also offer this system in (3) deliveries.
Kit (1) we call the Plumbing Installation Kit. This kit includes everything you need as a builder to get started and lay out all the plumbing. This includes the distributor outlets, tubing and D-shell connectors required to build the wiring harness.
Kit (2) is the control head and is generally ordered when ready to lay out the panel.
Kit (3) is the Fly Away kit and includes everything you need for the finish, including the cylinder and pressure regulator.
Because of the options we request that you call us to order so we can customize the system as required to meet your needs.
